Managing Products
Edit, update, and manage your existing products on E2C Store.
Viewing All Products
To see all your products:
- Click Products in the sidebar
- View your products in a searchable, sortable table
- See product name, price, stock status, and category at a glance
The products table provides a quick overview of your entire catalog and allows you to take actions on individual products.
Editing Products
To edit an existing product:
Navigate to Products
Go to Products in the sidebar to see your products table.
Find Your Product
Locate the product you want to edit:
- Use the search box to find products by name
- Sort by clicking column headers
- Scroll through the paginated table
Open the Editor
Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Actions column for that product.
This opens the product form with all existing information pre-filled.
Make Your Changes
Update any fields you need to change. All the same fields from adding a product are available:
- Basic Information: Name, category, condition, descriptions, product code
- Images: Add, remove, or reorder images
- Description & Keywords: Update long description and keywords
- Pricing & Inventory: Change price, stock, or visibility
- Variants: Modify variant options, pricing, or stock
- Shipping: Update shipping methods, delivery times, or prices
- Additional Details: Change brand, SKU, or image tag

Save Changes
Click Save at the bottom of the page to update the product.
The changes take effect immediately on your store.
When editing a product, all changes are saved together when you click Save. There's no auto-save, so make sure to save before navigating away.
Deleting Products
To permanently remove a product:
Navigate to Products
Go to Products in the sidebar.
Find the Product
Locate the product you want to delete in the products table.
Delete
Click the Delete icon (trash) in the Actions column.
Confirm
Confirm deletion in the popup that appears.
The product is permanently removed from your store.
Warning: Deleted products cannot be recovered. All product information, images, and sales history for that product will be lost.
Alternative: Consider setting the product to draft status instead if you might restore it later.
Reordering Products
You can change the order products appear on your store:
- Go to Products in the sidebar
- Click Reorder Products and use the drag handles (⋮⋮) to drag products up or down in the list
- Click Save Order once done
- The display order affects how products appear on your shop all and category pages
Display order helps you feature your best or newest products prominently.
Best Practices for Product Management
Regular Updates
- Review products monthly: Check for outdated information, pricing, or images
- Update seasonal items: Adjust visibility and pricing based on seasons
- Refresh descriptions: Add new details based on customer questions
- Verify stock levels: Ensure inventory quantities are accurate
Maintaining Quality
- Test product links: Click on products from your store to ensure they work
- Check mobile display: View products on a phone to ensure images and text look good
- Monitor performance: Pay attention to which products sell well and which don't
- Customer feedback: Update products based on reviews and questions
Organization Tips
- Consistent naming: Use a naming convention for easy searching
- Use SKUs: Assign SKUs to track products in external inventory systems
- Category assignments: Ensure all active products have categories
- Draft for preparation: Use draft status while preparing new seasonal items
Inventory Management
- Set realistic stock levels: Better to underestimate than oversell
- Update after receiving shipments: Add new stock immediately
- Plan for lead times: Set products to out of stock before you run out
- Track bestsellers: Keep popular items well-stocked
Troubleshooting
Can't Save Product Changes
- Check that all required fields are still filled in
- Ensure your internet connection is stable
- Verify that product code is still unique (if you changed it)
- Check that at least one shipping method exists
- Try refreshing the page and making changes again
Changes Not Appearing on Store
- Clear your browser cache and reload your store page
- Check that the product's "Display on Store" toggle is enabled
- Verify the product was saved successfully (look for success message)
- Wait a few minutes for caching to update
Images Not Updating
- Ensure images meet requirements (under 10MB, correct format)
- Try deleting and re-uploading the image
- Check your internet connection during upload
- Clear browser cache to see updated images
Product Disappeared from Store
- Check if "Display on Store" toggle was accidentally disabled
- Verify the product isn't set to out of stock
- Ensure product wasn't accidentally deleted
- Check that category is still active (if product is in an inactive category)
Stock Not Decreasing After Sales
- Ensure "In Stock" toggle is enabled for the product
- Check that inventory quantity is set (not left empty)
- Verify orders are being completed successfully
- For variant products, ensure "Stock varies" is enabled if tracking by variant
Variant Changes Not Saving
- Make sure to click Save in the variant modal first
- Then click Save on the main product form
- Check that variant names and options don't exceed character limits
- Verify you haven't exceeded max variants (3) or options (6 per variant)
