Product Images & Video

Upload, crop and order product photos, and add a YouTube or Vimeo video to the product gallery.

You manage images and video in the Product Images section of the add/edit product form.

Image rules

RuleValue
Images per productUp to 6
File sizeUp to 10 MB per image
FormatsJPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, SVG
RecommendedSquare (1:1), at least 500×500 px
  • The first image is the main photo. It appears in product grids, on Google Shopping, and when the product link is shared on social media.
  • E2C checks each file's actual contents, not just its name. A file renamed to .jpg that isn't really a JPG (for example an iPhone HEIC photo) is rejected, so convert it first.
  • SVG files are accepted only if they contain no scripts or links to outside files.

Adding, ordering and removing images

  1. Drag photos onto the dropzone, or click it to browse. You can pick several at once.
  2. Drag the images in the grid to change their order. The image in the first position is the main photo.
  3. Click an image to edit or delete it.
  4. Click Save (or Add Product) at the bottom of the form. Image changes aren't saved until you save the product.

If you try to add more than 6 images, the extra ones are refused with "Maximum 6 images allowed".

Image editor

Click an image and choose edit to open the Image Editor. You can:

  • Aspect Ratio: crop freely (Freeform) or to a square (1:1)
  • Drag Mode: move the image or move the crop box
  • Transform: rotate left or right, flip horizontally or vertically
  • Zoom: zoom in or out, or reset the zoom
  • Reset All undoes your edits. Save Changes keeps them.

The edited image replaces the original when you save the product.

Product video

Click Add Video and paste a link to a video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, then click Add.

  • One video per product. To change it, remove it and add a new one.
  • Accepted links: youtube.com/watch?v=…, youtu.be/…, YouTube Shorts and embed links, and vimeo.com/… or player.vimeo.com/video/… links. Other sites aren't supported. If a link isn't recognised, you'll see "Unrecognized video link — paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL."
  • Choose Show first to put the video before the images in the gallery, or Show last (the default) to put it after them.
  • Remove takes the video off the product the next time you save.

The video plays from YouTube or Vimeo, so it must be public or unlisted there.
