Home
Choose your hero, reorder and rename homepage sections, pick featured products, add custom sections, and manage the legacy carousel.
The Home workspace controls your store's homepage. Open it at Design Studio → Home. It has three groups: Hero Builder, Homepage Sections, and Legacy Carousel.
Hero Builder
The hero is the large area at the top of your homepage. Your store uses one of two heroes:
- Hero Builder – a custom hero you design in the Hero Builder. It becomes active the first time you save a design there.
- Legacy carousel – the original two-image slideshow. Stores use it until they save a Hero Builder design.
Click Open Hero Builder (or Edit Hero Builder once you have one) to design your hero.
When your Hero Builder design is active, a Use Legacy Carousel button also appears. It asks you to confirm, then switches your homepage back to the carousel. Your Hero Builder design is kept. To switch back, open the Hero Builder and save again.
Homepage Sections
Below the hero, your homepage shows these built-in sections:

Each section has a card where you can:
- Move up / Move down – change the order on the page.
- Visible – show or hide the section. Hidden sections keep their settings.
- Edit (pencil icon) – open the Edit Section window.
Edit Section

Featured Products, New Products, and Best Sellers show at most 6 products, even if Product Count is set higher. Services and Events can show up to 12.
With Accent Heading Word turned on in the Site workspace, the last word of each heading is shown in your accent color.
Featured products
On the Featured Products card, click the grid icon (Select Products) to open Select Featured Products.
- Filter by category if you like, then click products under Available Products to add them.
- You can select 1 to 6 products. Drag them under Selected Products to change their order.
- Click Save Selection, then save the Home workspace.
Only products from your own store that are active can be featured.
If Featured Products is visible but no products are selected, the section doesn't appear on your store. It does not fill itself with other products.
Custom sections
Click Add Custom Section to add your own content block between the built-in sections. You can add up to 10 custom sections.

Fields shared by most types:
- Admin Label – the name you see in the Studio (up to 80 characters). Buyers don't see it.
- Heading (up to 120 characters) with its own text color, and Alignment (Center or Left).
- Body – type plain text, or switch to HTML for basic formatting. Unsafe code such as scripts is removed when saved.
- Button Text (up to 60 characters), Button Link (for example
/shopall), and Button Size (Small, Medium, Large). - Background Color.
Images for custom sections can be uploaded (max 5 MB) or pasted as an image URL.
To remove a custom section, click its trash icon and confirm. It's removed from your homepage when you save.
Legacy Carousel
These settings are used only when the Hero Builder is not active.
- Default "Shop Now" Button Text – the button label on the slides. Up to 50 characters. If left blank, "Shop Now" is used.
- Carousel Image 1 and Carousel Image 2 – click Upload (max 5 MB) or Choose Image to pick one of E2C's stock images.
- Carousel 1 Text and Carousel 2 Text – up to six lines of text (Text 1 to Text 6) shown over each image.
All six text lines for one slide must fit in 50 characters combined, and the separators between lines count towards that total. Short phrases work best.
