Using Templates
Start quickly with one of 16 pre-designed hero templates.
The Hero Builder includes ready-made templates. They pick up your store's fonts and accent color automatically, so you only need to change the text, images, and links.
Choosing a template
If you haven't saved a hero yet, the Hero Builder opens with the Editorial template already loaded.
To pick a different one:
- Click Templates in the top bar.
- In Choose a Template, filter by All, Full image, Split, Minimal, Promotion, or Classic.
- Click a template card to apply it.

Applying a template replaces your whole current design on the canvas and clears undo history. If you have unsaved changes, you're asked to confirm first. Your last saved hero stays live on your store until you click Save again.
Templates are designed for desktop first. After applying one, check the Tablet and Mobile views.
Customizing a template
Everything in a template can be edited: double-click text to rewrite it, double-click images to replace them, change button links, and add or delete elements. See Editing & Components.
Some templates include sample text such as a discount code or customer quote. Replace it with your own before saving.
